Tesla Cybertruck Spotted Arriving By Plane in New Zealand

Tesla's highly anticipated electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck, has been spotted being unloaded from a cargo plane in New Zealand for what could be its final winter testing. This sighting suggests that the vehicle has reached the last phase of winter testing, a crucial step before the eagerly awaited all-electric pickup truck enters production later this year.

Contrary to popular belief, New Zealand is not just sun-filled valleys and stunning green landscapes. The country also experiences ample snow during the months of June to September, which coincides with the summer season in the Northern Hemisphere. As a result, the proving grounds situated in the South Island of New Zealand have become a renowned destination for automotive testing due to the availability of snowy conditions during this time.

The all-electric truck is scheduled to go into production later this year, as per the brand’s CEO Elon Musk, with a special handover event expected to happen around September.

Following several setbacks due to semiconductor shortages, it appears that Tesla is finally making progress with the production of the Cybertruck. This can be inferred from the increasing number of prototype sightings in recent months, as well as the noticeable acceleration of development activities at the Austin Gigafactory.
