It looks like Tesla has officially started delivering Model Ys made in Gigafactory Berlin! CEO Elon Musk personally handed over the first vehicles and gave a quick speech.
This is a huge milestone for Tesla. These are the first cars to be produced in Europe, and is going to help feed into their deliveries in the European market.
This is going to do big favors for the other production factories such as China and the US, where they were firstly being delivered from.
Gigafactory Berlin will free up some production from these markets.
During his speech, Musk thanked all the workers who made the factory possible, and exclaimed, "Tesla will make sure that this is a gemstone for the area, for Germany, and for the world."
